Moher
is a psychedelic folk band based on Jeju Island, South Korea, consisting of singer-songwriter e_so, who was born and raised on Jeju Island, and Minkyu Jo, whose musical journey began as a busker in Ireland. Together, they weave an intricate soundscape where the irish bouzouki and acoustic guitar intertwine with their harmonically contrasting voices, evoking imagery of waves crashing against rugged cliffs—a poetic confluence of two distant yet kindred islands.

The band’s name ‘Moher’ is drawn from the cliffs of moher in ireland and means ‘ruined fort’ in Gaelic. They met purely by chance during their travels in Thailand in early 2023. What began as a serendipitous encounter quickly grew into a profound musical partnership, culminating in the creation of Moher.
