Born in Rieti in 1990 and raised in a small village on the border between Lazio and Abruzzo, Carlo Valente is an Italian
singer-songwriter known for his evocative storytelling and distinctive voice. Following the release of his debut EP Collezioni
(2014) and the acclaimed album Tra l'altro... (2017), he established himself within the contemporary Italian songwriting scene.
His music combines intimate narratives, poetic imagery, and a deeply personal perspective. In 2023, he returned with Metri quadrati,
further defining his unique artistic identity.
Album & Artistic Project: Metri quadrati
Released in 2023 by TotoSound, Metri quadrati is an eight-song journey born from isolation and introspection. Drawing inspiration from
confinement and the desire to look beyond physical boundaries, the album explores themes of love, loss, mortality, and renewal. Valente
blends personal experiences with vivid storytelling, creating a coherent and emotionally resonant narrative. While rooted in
singer-songwriter traditions, the project introduces electronic textures that enrich its intimate and contemporary sound.

Levin Goes Lightly would play alongside David Bowie
at SO36 in the 80s and is part of the current Berlin scene, even though he doesn't live here. Berghain bouncer Sven Marquart considers
him an inspiration. He appears in shiny make-up like a bird of paradise and yet remains the cool prince of darkness. Levin Goes
Lightly's music is a mixture of post-punk, dream pop and synthwave. The Stuttgart-based musician (who lives in an old train wagon)
began releasing music in the early 2010s and has gained attention for his atmospheric sound and melancholic lyrics. Levin Goes
Lightly's music is often characterized by haunting vocals, minimalist production and atmospheric electronic elements that create an
otherworldly and introspective mood. His albums such as "Neo Romantic" and "Nackt" have earned him a loyal following in
the indie music scene and established him as a unique voice in contemporary German underground music. His songs alternate between the muted
languages of German and English. He has been played live on the BBC by Iggy Pop and featured on Trentemøller compilations alongside The KVB,
Black Marble and Slow Dive.
