For this edition of Make Music Hong Kong!, Romania will be represented by the pianist Szöcs Botond... Let him introduce himself: 

Hello everyone!

Firstly, I am so thrilled and honored to be invited to 'Make Music Hong Kong Festival', it means a lot to me to be able to represent my country, Romania.

My name is Szöcs Botond and I am studying piano at Transilvania University of Brasov, under the guidance of prof. Stela Drăgulin. I have performed around the world in Great Britain, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Greece, Madeira, Moldova, Malta, Montenegro, Vietnam and China. I truly enjoy every sound I play and I like to give the audience a very captivating performance.

For tonight I am happy to offer you a virtual gift. I would like to play one of my favorite concertos, Rachmaninov's Second Piano Concerto which I hope it will bring you the energy and comfort you need.
